FAQs

  • We meet colleges where they are and take them to their goal. To ensure we understand that, we have an initial form (see above) to complete to tell us more about your situation. We follow up with a short Zoom meeting to discuss the situation more. If we can help you, we'll offer you suggestions on next steps. If we can't help you, we will tell that you upfront and provide suggestions on what to do instead.

  • Our methods work best with community colleges and universities with a single, autonomous math department (as opposed to multiple math departments that must agree on curriculum and policies).

  • Yes, this is our bread and butter. We bring more than just redesign expertise. We also bring the experience and knowledge of how to work with multiple stakeholders in higher education to bring about change with buy-in. Finding win-win solutions is a high priority.

  • No. Respect for time, talent, diverse perspectives, and prior work is essential. We always begin our work by getting a full picture of what you've already been doing, what's working, and what's not. We don't come to your college with a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, we find out where you are, where you want to be, and what's stopping you and then help you formulate an approach you can live with while also being effective.
